We will start with an introduction to the deepwater Niger Delta, including an overview of recent activities, open acreage opportunities, MultiClient data footprint and the key established plays in the region. We will then review a selection of deeper water target areas across the outboard Niger Delta, tracking south to north, aiming to identify commonly overlooked play types in the deeper stratigraphy. In conclusion, we will highlight the merits of data re-processing and investigate areas where new seismic acquisition can potentially illuminate overlooked plays.
The session will be highly valuable to companies currently developing opportunities in the deeper water of the Niger Delta or companies considering entry (or re-entry) into this highly prospective region.
