Stian presents the concept of acquiring seismic data without active sources. He shows how to estimate a vessel-generated acoustic wavefield from the recorded direct arrivals and use this wavefield for imaging the subsurface. The method is tested with different acquisition configurations, and in a variety of different geological settings. (PGS 2023)
