Ghana Launches First License Round

The Ministry of Energy has announced the Republic of Ghana’s first open license round, and PGS is pleased to offer its support.

This hotly anticipated round will focus on six blocks in the highly prospective Tano Basin. Three blocks will be open to competitive bidding, two blocks for direct award negotiations and one block for allocation to GNPC.

Details of the application process, time frame and individual block information, data available (2D and 3D seismic), existing wells and work program requirements along with bid documents and evaluation criteria will be presented on Tuesday 27 November, in the International Pavilion at PETEX.

This presentation by Christine Roche of PGS, supported by a delegation from the Ministry of Energy and the License Round Committee, will provide information on the opportunities and a forum for discussion.
