Over 12 000 km of high quality 2D GeoStreamer data have been acquired to build regional understanding of the hydrocarbon potential of the Kwanza, Benguela and Namibe Basins.
The PSDM 2D seismic imaging reveals a number of untested basement structures in the pre-salt section, as well as the larger regional basement trend that controls the distribution and thickness of the pre-salt sediments.
The data provides a grid of high quality seismic, approximate 25 km x 35 km, in this prospective frontier area, and includes well-tie lines into key wells in the shallower water to the east.
