Latest processing technology reveals more details
Website Map for Survey MC3D-EGB2013RM
This is a reprocessed and merged conventional dataset situated over the Egersund Basin, the southeastern part of the Sele High and the Krabbe Fault Zone. The area contains some oil discoveries and is relatively underexplored.
The main petroleum system is characterized by a Jurassic source rock and Triassic, Jurassic to Cretaceous reservoir sandstones which are sealed by Late Cretaceous limestone and mudstone. Discoveries covered by the survey are; Yme, Brisling and Vette.
This reprocessed and merged conventional dataset benefits from the latest processing technology to achieve an uplift in data quality.
